The first post of our “5 tips and tricks” series! Make sure to read it carefully to get the most out of Crossbox.
#1 You have the option to import sessions via Bluetooth or Wifi
In your app settings you can decide whether to download your sessions using Bluetooth or Wifi. Wifi is the faster way to download a session but it takes around 10 seconds to establish the Wifi connection at the beginning. This is why we recommend to choose “Bluetooth” if your sessions are typically below 25-30 minutes in duration. Please also keep in mind, if you use an old or “cheap” smartphone model that is not capable of latest Bluetooth technology, Wifi might be your better choice.

#2 Decide if your tracker should switch off or stay on after finishing the import
If you always import the session right after you completed it, it can be super convenient that the CBX20 turns itself off after downloading the session. In this way, you never forget to turn it off during your breaks. But if you rather like to download many sessions at the end of the day, it might be annoying that it always turns itself off after importing a session. Whatever you prefer, you can choose in your app settings if the CBX20 should turn off or stay on after an import got completed.

#3 How to access leaderboards the fastest way
If you would like to check the leaderboards for a track, you do not have to go to the tracks menu and search for the track. A faster way is to click into one session of that track!
- Click into your session
- Underneath your laps you will find “RANKING”, press on the fastest rider
- You will get navigated to the track
- Press on “Results”
Another tip: Click on “Calendar” and choose a specific date to view the ranking of the day

#4 Statistics of the day
Since a couple of weeks we have the new feature “Stats of the day” implemented. It’s a great overview of your riding day where you can check:
- Total minutes
- Fastest lap time
- Position on leaderboards
- How many 30, 20 and 15 minutes sessions you have completed
How to find the “Stats of the day”
- Click on the 3 dots next of a riding day
- Click on “Stats of the day”

#5 Always make sure that all your riding days are successfully synced with the cloud
The Crossbox app is constantly trying to sync your new laps with the cloud. It might happen, for some reason, that the cloud-sync is not completed. The cloud-icon next on the right side of each riding day indicates whether your day has been synced successfully or not. If you experience that some sessions are unsynced, try the following:
- Make sure to have a good internet connection
- Press on the 3 dots next of a riding day which is unsynced
- Press “Upload to cloud”
- Stay in the app for a couple of minutes. Open the sidebar and press on “Sessions” again and check, if the sync-status has changed to a light-grey cloud with a “done”-icon.
- If not, please contact us and we will try to fix your issue.
Why is it important that all riding days are successfully synced with the cloud?
- The app is constantly trying to sync your laps with the cloud. If that’s not possible, the app might crash or hang while importing new runs.
- You will only be shown in the rankings if all laps are on the cloud
- Friends can only view your laps if all laps are on the cloud
- Stats of the day and overall statistics only work if your laps are on the cloud
